The summer transfer window is open and Leicester City will be looking to do business as they plan for the 2021-22 season.
Leicester will be looking to build on a second successive fifth-place finish in the Premier League, as they just missed out on a Champions League spot once again.
The FA Cup winners are thought to be closing in on the signings of Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare and Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
The Foxes have also been linked with a host of other players, while their cup final hero Youri Tielemans is said to be a target for Liverpool.
Here is a round-up of the latest transfer news and rumours involving City…
Tielemans responds to speculation
Youri Tielemans has brushed off questions over his Leicester City future as he focuses on the European Championships with Belgium.
The City midfielder has been subject of intrigue over the past few weeks after he cut an emotional figure on the final day of City’s campaign, and amid links to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
Tielemans has two years left on his City deal and the club are hoping to tie him to a new contract. While the 24-year-old has always expressed happiness at the King Power Stadium the lack of Champions League football is causing concern among fans that they could lose their player of the season.
However, life at City is not on Tielemans’ mind right now, as he focuses on Belgium’s success at the Euros, with the world’s number-one ranked nation bidding to follow up their 3-0 win over Russia with another victory against Denmark on Thursday.
Asked about his future for the first time, he said: “I don’t think about it. I am focusing on the Euros. I don’t listen to transfer rumours. No matter how much I am valued, it doesn’t change anything for me. I just want to make the best Euros I can.”

Leicester City’s acquisition of French midfielder Boubakary Soumare could finally be completed this week.
The Foxes have been the long-time front-runners in the race to sign the talented middleman, who was instrumental as Lille caused a huge shock by beating Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title.
France’s surprise early exit from the European Under-21 Championship was expected to hasten confirmation of his arrival at the King Power Stadium, but the transfer is still be announced while Wolves and Everton are said to be admirers of the 22-year-old.
However, City remain on course to get their man, with the Daily Mail claiming a deal is “even possible this week”.
The report adds “the Foxes are confident they have an agreement with both player and club to complete the transfer ahead of pre-season, with the fee expected to be in the region of £23million”.
Previous reports have claimed the fee would be 25million euros (about £21.5million).

Ox tipped for City
Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been tipped for a move to Leicester City if he leaves Anfield this summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain found his first-team chances limited under Jurgen Klopp during the 2020-21 season.
The England international missed the first three months of the campaign due to a knee injury and after returning to fitness in December, he made only two starts and 15 substitute appearances for the Reds.
The 27-year-old has found himself behind the likes of Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Curtis Jones, James Milner and Naby Keita in the midfield pecking order.
Liverpool could also sign a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who has left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain – with Foxes ace Youri Tielemans among the names being mentioned.

All of the Premier League’s top four clubs would sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City, according to Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler.
Ndidi has established himself as a key member of the Leicester team since arriving from Belgian side Genk for £17million in January 2017.
In 2020-21, the Nigeria international helped Brendan Rodgers’ side win the FA Cup and finish fifth in the league for a second season running.
Leicester narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot once again as they ended up behind Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and champions Manchester City.
Tyler believes any of those would welcome Ndidi should the opportunity arise.
