The Euros are coming.
The footy competition is only one week away.
The UEFA European Football Championship was supposed to take place last year but it had to re-scheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The tournament kicks off on June 11 at 8pm with the Turkey versus Italy match.
The games will be on free-view television channels, such as the BBC or ITV – however, watching the match in a pub or beer garden enhance the atmosphere of the beautiful game.
We’ve compiled a list of some of the best places to watch the matches in Gloucestershire.
Most bars and pubs in the county will likely be showing the Euros, however these are some choice places. You can watch the Three Lions, as they face-off other European teams, with an ice cold pint and the company of fellow fans.
England play their first match against Croatia on Sunday, June 13.

The Outdoor Inn
The Outdoor Inn will be showing the England matches on their outdoor big screen at their venue in High Street, Cheltenham.
Bookings come to £7 for a four person capacity table and £9 for a six person, these can be booked through the bar’s website.

The Doctors will be showing the matches on their massive screen inside the pub along with the numerous flat widescreen TVs features all over the venue.
The bar in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, does not appear to be taking bookings.

The Landsdown is a Cheltenham favourite for watching the footy.
Situated on Landsdown Road, the Greene King chain pub is taking bookings for all the matches.
Punters can book a slot for the matches online. These will have to be made half an hour before kick off and bookings will reserve the table for a period of three hours.

The Blue Bamboo Sports Bar in Gloucester Docks is a well-known haunt for footy fans.
The matches will be broadcast on their six widescreen HD TVs.
The sports and gin bar in The Barge Arm does not appear to be taking bookings.

The Royal Hop Pole
The Royal Hop Pole in Tewkesbury will be showing the matches.
Wetherspoon pubs do not take bookings, this one is located in Church Street in the town centre.
