A royal source has claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby is due on what would have been Prince Philip’s 100th birthday.
If they are correct, it means the expected date of arrival for the baby girl is Thursday, June 10.
The royal insider who revealed the supposed due date to The Sun also discussed what baby names the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been discussing as the big day gets nearer.
Diana as a tribute to Prince Harry and William’s mum is currently favourite with the bookies,
But a tribute to Prince Philip that could be especially poignant if the royal baby was born on his birthday is also being discussed.
A source told The Sun that Pip is in the running, as is Lily .
That would be a nod to the Queen, whose nickname is Lilibet.
The source told the paper: “They’ve been talking about Lily and Pip.
“They’re not exactly traditional royal names, but these two aren’t exactly a traditional royal couple.”
