Rival fans eye transfers after Nuno news
Wolves are on the lookout for a new head coach this summer following the news that Nuno will be departing Molineux after the game against Manchester United on Sunday.
Wolves will replace Nuno after four years in the hot seat at the club, a mid-table end to the season coming after back-to-back seventh-placed finishes and a Championship winning season in his maiden campaign with the club in 2017-18.
United and Liverpool fans have been discussing how that could impact their side, with Nuno leaving behind a team assembled by him which includes eight Portuguese players.
Nuno has tasted success in relative terms with a late run to the Europa League quarter-finals last season with a squad that is mostly made up of talent with the same nationality of him.
Bruno Lage tipped for Wolves job

Nuno will depart Wolves after four years with the club, both parties agreeing to go their separate ways when the season concludes.

Tottenham fans have theory after Wolves exit
Tottenham Hotspur fans think Nuno could become their club’s next head coach – and bring Wolves striker Raul Jimenez with him.
Nuno’s impending departure was announced on Friday afternoon with the Portuguese set to leave after Sunday’s game against United.
The former Porto boss has spent four seasons with Wolves and will bow out with a mid-table finish having led the club to back-to-back seventh-placed finishes upon promotion from the Championship in 2018.
Nuno is now the heavy favourite to take over at Tottenham following the departure of Jose Mourinho last month.
Every word from Nuno’s presser
Wolves have announced that Nuno will leave the club after Sunday’s game with United.
In his four-year tenure Nuno has overseen promotion from the Championship and taken Wolves to the last-eight of the Europa League where they were defeated by Sevilla in Duisburg last August.
News of Nuno’s departure has come as a surprise to supporters, some of whom will be returning to Molineux for the first time since March 2020 on Sunday.
The announcement arrived just one hour after Nuno had finished what will be his final pre-match press conference as Wolves coach.
