Smyth’s Toys has revealed when it plans to restock more PS5s for customers as people scramble to grab a console.
The retailer has been one of the main sources for gamers to try and grab the next-gen consoles since its release in November.
However many customers have been scrambling trying to grab one since then and Smyth’s dropped its last console stock last week.
And plenty of people have been eagerly waiting for when another drop will come to the store.
It appears that Smyth’s Toys have told customers they won’t need to wait much longer as it says more stock will come in February.
No exact date has yet to be disclosed by the retailer however Smyth’s dropped stock on January 15 meaning stock could come around that time.
Meanwhile, other retailers have been suffering woes as they attempted to drop stock in the past week.
Argos said it has been forced to investigate claims that people were able to buy consoles before it dropped its stock earlier this morning.
The news instantly made users furious with users claiming Argos’ website had been “compromised” and instantly started tagging the Argos Twitter account.
One person said: “They are getting the orders before stock is even released!! How is this possible? I just want a fair stock drop for everyone!”
And another Twitter user wrote: “@ArgosHelpers @Argos_Online so are the rumours true? Have the scalpers managed to get ps5 units from stores?
“I’ve been holding out until I could click and collect. It’s clear now that units are in stores can you please let me know the date they are going live?”
Argos has confirmed it was something that was being investigated internally.
