We’ve all been told to expect some snow today, but how much will you be getting where you live?

While the snow is falling in decent style across Warwickshire this morning it’s set to stay that way for some places in the county and not for others.

We’ve taken a look at what the Met Office says will happen for the rest of the day across Warwickshire:

Nuneaton and Bedworth

The snow is already falling in Nuneaton and Bedworth and it looks set to continue you doing so right in to the evening.

The Met Office forecast says there will be heavy snow from now up until lunchtime, with it then becoming light snow.

The chance of snow falling doesn’t fall below 50 per cent until it finally ceases at around 9pm.

And if you’re getting out there today for some wintry fun, please wrap up warm as the temperature won’t get above freezing (0C).

Rugby

It’s a similar story for those in Rugby where lunchtime, the afternoon and evening will all pass with a wintry backdrop – so say the Met Office.

Their predictions for Sunday include heavy snow to begin with for the next few hours, before it lightens off in the afternoon but will keep steadily going until this evening.

Warwick

It’s a slightly different story in Warwick where the weather gods have decided it won’t snow quite as much.

The morning looks the same with heavy snow forecast for now until around lunchtime, before stopping for a good few hours.

Snowfall in Eathorpe

The sky will still look like it’s full of snow – a phrase we all love don’t we? – and that’s because it will be preparing for a second snowfall from 6pm for an hour or two.

This is expected to be more of a light sprinkling to see the day out.

Leamington

Despite being just around the corner, Leamington is apparently going to be like those elsewhere with a constant stream of snow from now until around 9pm.

And temperatures will be soaring up to a whopping 1C for those in the town – you might still want to wear a hat and gloves if heading out though.

Stratford

The most southernly of our towns, it seems that Stratford is set for the least amount of snow.

The Met Office says that this morning’s snow will end by lunchtime and if any more does fall it won’t be until around 7pm and it will only be light snow.

And even if it does arrive again, it will only be for an hour or so.
