Coventry City fans have been reacting to the news that the Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday has been postponed.
The Sky Blues were due to host the Owls this weekend as they were preparing to return to league action after going out of the FA Cup on Saturday.
However, Mark Robins will now have to wait for a few more days with their next match coming against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday, January 19 at 6pm.
The game against Sheffield Wednesday has been postponed due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases in the Owls camp, with the EFL making the decision that the game will now be played at a later date.
A number of Championship games have been postponed so far this season, but this is the first time it has affected the Sky Blues.
Coventry have confirmed that there were no positive tests within the squad or staff in the latest round of testing.
After hearing the news of the postponement, Sky Blues’ fans took to social media to give their reaction, with most looking at the positives of the situation.
Here is what some had to say.
Mark Smith : More time to get our other players fit
Daniel Terry : It’s probably benefited us aswell tbf
Naomi Burke : It was bound to happen at some point…taking the glass half full view it gives our lads more resting/training time to prepare for the next match #PUSB

ST4RMS : May not be a bad thing at all this. #pusb
SkyBlueBen : Why can’t they play their U23’s? Teams have had to in the FA Cup with the U18 and 23’s, so I don’t see why the matches are rearranged in the league…
Joe : More than happy to play them when we have our key players back from injury, cheers
