Primark customers have been taken in by a new set of Disney loungewear people want to buy – but can’t.
The retailer has been forced to close all its stores due to the third lockdown and with no online store, people have been unable to shop for its items.
However, it hasn’t stopped Primark from teasing its customers on social media with products they could get their hands on when stores do reopen.
And one of the store’s latest posts has people wishing they could go to the nearest store. It showed off the Lion King hoodie and jogging bottoms which received almost 100,000 likes.
The post received tons of comments from people saying they wish they could buy them. One person said: “Omg I want this set. The Lion King is like in my top 3 Disney Films for sure”
Another person wrote: “Ahh stop showing stuff we can’t buy!!”
A third person said: “Wish you did some stuff online and delivery. Only been Primark once in past year because of the restrictions!”
While a fourth added: “When are u guys selling clothes online? I can’t wait!”
Primark customers were recently gutted after the store confirmed there was still no plans to open an online store.
Posting on Twitter, Primark wrote: “If you could choose, what would be your dream Primark collab for 2021?”
Shoppers were quick to share their suggestions, but one request appeared to outweigh the rest: an online store.
One person said: “How about online shopping like the rest of the world. Why do you still refuse to do this? Shops are closed so everyone goes online, you are losing out.”
Primark then replied with a huge blow to online shopping hopefuls, writing: “We will pass your suggestion on, but we have to tell you David, an online store is not in our plans.”
