Police who pulled over a man driving on the A5 in the early hours of this morning discovered knives and cannabis inside the vehicle.
The officers from Warwickshire Police said they had received a report about a suspicious vehicle, which led to them pulling the man over.
In a tweet at 2pm today, the force said: “Officers have arrested and charged a man with possession of knives and possession of cannabis after stopping his car on the A5 near Nuneaton in the early hours of this morning.
“The officers seized several knives and cannabis after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle.”
