The Friday night lights await as Bath host Wasps at The Rec in round six of the Gallagher Premiership.
Wasps arrive in Somerset in fine form having defeated Exeter Chiefs last time out. The 34-5 win backed up their league win at Sale Sharks and the Heineken Champions Cup victories against the Dragons and Montpellier.
Bath were beaten last time out at Leicester Tigers who came from 14-0 down at Welford Road to win 36-31.
It was Stuart Hooper’s side’s fourth defeat from the five games in which they have taken to the field this term. The Blue, Black and Whites have also had two matches cancelled due to Covid-19 with London Irish cancelling their league tie after Bath were forced to do the same in Europe against La Rochelle.
Wasps were triumphant the last time the two sides met at The Rec in August 2020, a thrilling 27-23 victory that started their surge up the table to eventually finish the season as runners up.
Team news is on Thursday at 12pm. Kick off on Friday is 7.45pm.
