The Midlands has been hit by heavy snowfall overnight.
Experts have issued a yellow weather alert for the region, which will be in place until 6pm on Monday, December 28.
The Met Office predicted rain would turn to snow, which along with widespread ice, would disrupt some travel and utilities.
