At the start of this year’s Strictly,  singer HRVYwas barely able to lift his partner Janette Manrara during routines.

Fast forward to week six and the 21-year-old was the first celebrity ever in Strictly history to score a ten from all judges in such a short amount of time.

Now the pair have stormed to the final and it’s all thanks to his 37-year old ‘big sister’ partner pushing the young star every step of the way.

The hard work has paid off with judge Craig Revel Horwood describing the pair as “spectacular”. The other judges have also been wowed.

Reflecting on their Charleston in the semi-final, Manrara said: “I was really, really grateful Shirley [Ballas] and Motsi [Mabuse] appreciated that I do push HRVY… felt the pressure massively as a choreographer and a teacher to make sure every week we came back with something just as incredible if not, hopefully even more incredible than the week before.

” I feel like his big sister… Poor HRVY has been right there with me every day pushing through exhaustion, just because you do want to deliver the best possible version of the dance on Saturday. ”

Chatting to Rylan Clarke on It Takes Two on Friday she added: “I am really tough on Harvey. I keep telling him because the judges are going to have very high expectations.”

Manrara has found the training experience particularly hard this year.

Due to social distancing rules, she has been separated from husband and professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec for the past two months.

And she has needed his support more than ever as, despite being one of Strictly’s top dancers, Manrara has shockingly never made the Strictly final – in eight years of taking part.

Skorjanec has had more luck – he was Strictly runner up with Gemma Atkinson in 2017 and won the trophy in 2013 with model Abbey Clancy.

Speaking to Hello magazine he said: “I hope Janette wins Strictly so we each have one glitter ball trophy on either side of the bed – that would be lovely.”

HRVY’s millions of followers on social media are sure to put the votes in Manrara’s favour.

The ‘Good Vibes’ singer also has a huge global fan base.

But if HRVY doesn’t walk away with the crown he will at least walk away with fellow contestant Maisie Smith’s phone number.

HRVY’s mother Nicky Cantwell recently gave Maisie her blessing – after noticing some flirting between the pair – with the handsome heartthrob saying they would “go for a meal” after the series ends.

The other couples dancing for Strictly glory are Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse, Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer  and Maisie and Gorka Marquez.

The final is on 6pm on BBC1 with the winner revealed tonight.
