A brand new Nando’s is set to open in Coventry tomorrow.
Peri peri fans will be able to get their fill of chicken at the new outlet at Arena Park – although, for now it will be takeaway and delivery only.
Doubt has hung over the new Nando’s for months, with work starting over a year ago inside a former library unit.
Signs were spotted in January promising the new restaurant at the shopping centre in Foleshill would be ‘opening soon’.
But no official launch date was ever announced and then, in March, the nation went into lockdown.
In October the restaurant confirmed that plans were still moving forward although there was still no opening date.

But now, Arena Park have confirmed the opening date is imminent. A spokesman said the Nando’s will be opening tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16, for delivery and collection. People can order on the Nando’s App, through Deliveroo or click and collect at the Nando’s website.
The new Nando’s is the third in Coventry, joining branches in the city centre and Cross Point.
Plus it joins a host of eateries already up and running at Arena Park, including Subway, Greggs, Burger King and Pizza Hut.
