A lorry has hit a bridge in Cradley Heath – causing travel ‘chaos’.
Cradley Road is partially blocked this evening (Wednesday, December 2) following the bridge strike.
Traffic is building up in the area and rail services between Stourbridge Junction and Birmingham Snow Hill also face disruption.
Passengers have been warned services may be cancelled or delayed until around 7pm.
A West Midlands Railway spokesman said: “Because of a road vehicle colliding with a bridge earlier today between Stourbridge Junction and Birmingham Snow Hill. trains have to run at reduced speed.
“Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
“Disruption is expected to last until around 7pm.”
Thousands of children in Birmingham face a Christmas without a proper home this year – but there is something you can do.
Our campaign, Grant a Christmas #BrumWish, aims to help buy presents for more than 1,000 youngsters cramped together, sharing beds, in soulless rooms in B&Bs, and others who will be in a Women’s Aid refuge.
It is all through an Amazon Wish List – meaning you can personally buy a present that will be delivered before December 25.

Make sure you set delivery to the #BrumWish Campaign, and we will ensure the presents get to the kids.
If you can’t get on Amazon, you can donate cash through the Winter Wellbeing VirginMoney page – just make sure to put the word BRUM in the comments so it comes through to #BrumWish.
Rowley Police took to Twitter to post a picture from the scene and urge motorist to be patient.
The post said: “Traffic chaos by Station Street and Chester Road due to an accident. Traffic moving very slowly. Please be patient.”
