If you have been trying to get a PS5 then there will be good news for you because more stock is coming before the end of the year.
Sony made the announcement through the Playstation UK Twitter earlier today saying the demand had been “unprecedented”.
During launch day, websites crashed and orders were cancelled as thousands of people went out to try and buy the latest console.
And many had thought that their luck had ran out for Christmas but you might still be in with a chance according to Sony.
The most recent tweet by Sony said: “We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever.
“Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers”.
This comes after a report found that groups of people were buying up PS5 stock to sell it for a higher price.
A report by Business Insider found that one group has amassed 3,500 consoles by launching bots in order to quickly snap up orders before other people.
“Our total collective number is 2,472 PS5 consoles across all of our members,” a manager of one such UK-based group said.
The group also managed to grab “just under 1,000” PlayStation 5 pre-orders from back in September when a number of sites opened up pre-order sales.
Meanwhile, CEX is selling the console for £750 which is almost £300 more than it should be sold for by other retailers.
