Christmas is just around the corner, and retailers across Coventry are getting ready for the festive season.
This year it will almost certainly be a Christmas like no other, with lockdowns and social distancing dominating the discussion.
Of course, these rules will have an impact on Christmas shopping, both in terms of buying gifts and getting the turkey and trimmings onto the table.
Shops have had to adapt all year and, while it is not thought that the Christmas period will see a return to lengthy queues and stockpiling, a simple trip to the supermarket isn’t quite as straightforward as in previous years.
To make the operation run smoothly, supermarket giant Aldi has revealed their festive opening hours fairly early this year, to allow those last minute shoppers plenty of time to prepare.
The biggest change comes in the form of Christmas opening hours.
In the run up to Christmas Eve, the supermarket is extending its opening hours to 7am all the way through until 11pm.
However, it is well worth checking the opening times of your local branch before making the journey, just in case.
