A recent poll I put out on Twitter indicated 93% wanted to see a Stirchley-based Christmas Gift Guide. Supporting small businesses in the local area is a must this festive season – especially when we’re in the middle of a pandemic and every penny helps. Come and buy your loved ones something a bit more special and meaningful this year, we guarantee it’s a win/win situation all round.
Attic Brew – Taproom joy, ahoy! Attic are providing a whole range of fantastic boozy vouchers, gifts and merch online – and their gift boxes can be tailored to your specific requirements and are no doubt gonna be snatched up fast.
SweetMeat – A sickly-sweet fantasy that even Wonka would be jealous of, Sweetmeat Inc are currently pushing out their fudge / sauce / merchandise and Christmas bundles. Their produce is beyond amazing and the range of flavours available is vast. Their salted flavour was voted GREAT TASTE 2020 AWARD-WINNER.
CanEat – A haven of delectable goodies and deli treats on the high street, nab yourself some top notch stocking fillers here. They are selling mince pies that you might want to stockpile and check out their social for latest updates. P.s – Not entirely Christmas related but check out Bakery30 for insane looking cakes.
Hedge – Usually found inside CanEat, Hedge are an interior brand for all your homeware needs including: wreath kits, gift sets, candles, jewellery and more. They go the extra mile to gift wrap your purchases and send directly with a hand written note. Currently offering free uk delivery on all orders overs £50, using the discount code FREESHIP50.
Loaf – While they are not taking bookings, Loaf are selling gift vouchers for their cookery classes which will be redeemable once they re-open the school. They also have cotton and linen towels and tote bags for sale in their online shop. Keep your eyes peeled for baking kits, mince pies, stollen over the coming weeks – and not forgetting they are planning on making bread vouchers available for December so people can gift each other a future loaf.
Couch – Labelled as one of the best cocktail bars to ever grace the planet, they are selling some of their fabulous concoctions via their website. Fancy getting Santa sloshed? Click+Collect Cocktails can be purchased between 8am-11pm daily. Details for collection on the website.
Quietude – Founded in late 2018, this place is a lovely independent boutique, perfect for well-being gifts. Think relaxing bath products, candles, books and gift sets. For now it’s collection only, but totally worth it.

Stirchley Wines & Spirits – A click & collect service, there are some absolute corkers in their shop. Enjoy beer, cider, spirits, wine, sodas, gift vouchers and more. This Yadokai Unique Edition looks insane.
Isherwood – The perfect place for all your plants, pots, candles and gifting needs. Click & collect from the Stirchley store, or take advantage of their Flower Drop Friday. I’m totally digging this Houseplant Monthly Subscription.

Birmingham Brewery Company – Collection and delivery available. Expect canned gift packs, branded tees, socks, glasses and even tour gift guide vouchers. Delivery to ‘B’ postcodes is free for orders over £20.

Yoga Borne – A wonderful independent, purpose built yoga studio in Stirchley that are selling two different styles of Christmas gift cards that can be customised. Can be hand delivered, picked up from the studio post-lockdown and emailed as a last minute gift. And breathe…
