It’s a beautiful time of year for a walk in the great outdoors, and we’re lucky to have some wonderful parks here in Leicestershire – many of which were recently named by the Green Flag Awards as among the best in the UK!
With the cold weather starting to bite, a great way to finish off a bracing walk is with a warming coffee or hot chocolate, and perhaps a nice slice of cake to go with it.
It’s good news, then, that many of Leicestershire’s parks have cafes, which are currently open for takeaways.
Of course, you must remember to adhere to social distancing and abide by other safety measures that the cafes have in place.
Here’s our suggestions for Leicestershire park cafes that you could visit …..
