Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that they could be without forward Mo Salah for the Premier League clash against Leicester City after the international break.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have already been depleted by injuries with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold all set to miss the game.

There are also slight injury concerns over midfielders Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara, who are both making their way back to fitness.

It now looks like the Reds could also be without Mo Salah for the top-of-the-table clash, with the FA releasing a statement saying that the forward had tested positive for Coronavirus, although he is asymptomatic.

It has since been suggested that the player will be retested in the coming days.

Should it turn out that Salah needs to enter a period of self-isolation, then he will be unavailable for the game against Leicester.

It’s not only Liverpool who have injury worries going into the game. Before the international break, City were without a number of key players including Ricardo Pereira and Wilfred Ndidi.

Following the news of Salah’s possible absence, Liverpool fans have taken to social media to have their say on the upcoming game against Leicester.
