A female driver managed to escape unhurt after her car came off the road and ended up pointing at the sky on Sunday (November 1).
A member of the local 4×4 rescue team happened to be passing shortly after the crash, which happened earlier this evening near Long Clawson in the Melton area.
The 4×4 team tweeted shortly after 6pm: “Drive carefully folks.
“Young lady driving this Fiat 500 nr Long Clawson escaped injury but could so easily have been more serious.
“One of our responders came across scene as she was being picked up by friends.”
The photograph tweeted by Leicestershire and Rultand 4×4 Response showed the Fiat vertically against a tree at the side of the road.
