Robins post-Swansea thoughts
Coventry City manager Mark Robins was on hand to give his post-match thoughts following the Sky Blues’ 1-1 draw with Swansea City on Tuesday night.
Coventry could have easily taken three points from the game after a string of late chances came and went for Robins’ team.
However, the win will serve as a confidence boost after a couple of disappointing results before and after the international break.

Tried and trusted formation
During the game, Robins switched back to the tried and trusted formation that sees just one striker leading the line.
Matty Godden was the forward chosen to lead the line against the Swans, and the decision worked to good effect.
It has been a system that has worked well for the Sky Blues since last season, with Robins reverting back to it against Swansea, and it was one of the talking points from the game.

Steve Cooper’s assessment
Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has given his honest assessment of the game against Coventry.
“I didn’t like our performance in the first half, and, truth be told, I was happy for us not to be down,” he told WalesOnline .

“We know Coventry do some different things tactically which we’ve got to respect the way the play and they got promoted that way.
“I just don’t think we started the game with enough intensity and endeavour. I don’t like that because for all of some of the things we try and do tactically, and play with the ball and that sort of stuff, I want us to be a team that works hard and fights.
