Coventry City manager Mark Robins has his fingers crossed that wing-back Fankaty Dabo will not be out too long.

Dabo missed the Sky Blues’ 2-0 defeat at Brentford on Saturday in which Ivan Toney scored both goals in the second half.

Asked about Dabo’s absence, Robins said: “Fanky was injured and his wife was expecting today, so that was the reason for him not being involved.

“He has a neural back/hamstring issue that he has to work on.

“I’ve no idea how long he will be out, but hopefully not long.

“It gives us a headache because the balance isn’t right. We have lost both Fanky and Julien Dacosta, so once we can get them back and firing then things look a little bit different.”

The Sky Blues are back in action on Tuesday night with a home game against Swansea City.
