With the likes of Hugo Boss disappearing and H&M opening, we have taken a look back at the past 12 months
These past 12 months have been a tumultuous for the high street with shops opening, closing and re-opening in the wake of COVID-19.
But it hasn’t been all doom and gloom with a number of shops and restaurants opening up in the Gloucester Quays shopping centre.
Gloucester Quays is located in St Ann Way in an area that used to be an industrial site called High Orchard. It was opened in 2009 by celebrity fashion consultant and television presenter Gok Wan with 40 stores.
Over time the shopping centre expanded, adding more stores and restaurants.
In 2013, after a £60 million investment, the shopping centre installed Cineworld. The cinema branch was previously located across the road in the Peel Centre.
With more investment over the years, the store has held festivals and it is developing a second floor to incorporate more stores.
Below is a round-up of all the shops that have opened and closed in the past 12 months.
