Leicester City centre-back Jonny Evans is expected to feature for Northern Ireland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday.
The 32-year-old was unable to feature in the first three games for City this season after being shown red in the final game of the 2019/20 season.
He was drafted straight back into the starting 11 for the memorable 5-2 win over Man City at the Etihad but left the pitch in the second half with a tight calf.
However, he was fit enough to play the full 90 minutes of the next game against West Ham on Sunday, although he did take a knock in that game.
However, Northern Ireland boss Ian Baraclough has moved quickly to reassure fans.
“He has reported last night (Sunday) and this morning to be OK,” he said of Evans in his pre-match press conference.
“Nothing to worry about,” he added.
After not taking full part of pre-season, Evans has been thrown straight back into action, with Brendan Rodgers giving his own update on his condition ahead of the Man City game.

“He’s had a good couple of weeks and I think, for most players, they’re not going to be 100 percent. I’d still have Jonny Evans at 80 percent because he’s such a quality player,” he said.
Following the game against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Ireland are in UEFA Nations League action against Austria and Norway.
Evans will then return to Leicester ahead of the Premier League game against Aston Villa.
