Adrien Silva has completed his departure from Leicester City after joining Italian side Sampdoria.
Silva was a £24m signing from Sporting Lisbon in 2017, but he would only play 21 times for the club.
He spent 18 months on loan over the course of two spells with Monaco, but has now moved on to be reunited with Foxes legend Claudio Ranieri.
The Premier League title winning manager did a fine job with Sampdoria last season as they avoided relegation from Serie A.
The 31-year-old Silva has signed a two-year contract.
Since completing the move, Silva posting a short message on Instagram, saying: “Ready for a new chapter. Very happy to join the @sampdoria family.”
