Mark Robins has some big selection decisions to make ahead of Coventry City’s Championship test against AFC Bournemouth on Friday night.

Those, fortunately, of are of the more welcome variety as the manager has to decide whether to stick or twist as Sky Blues skipper Liam Kelly comes back into contention after sitting out the last three weeks with a hamstring tear.

City will need all of the captain’s experience and influence against the Cherries, who will provide the sternest test yet with so much Premier League quality still in Jason Tindall’s squad.

As such, the 30-year-old is expected to come straight back into the starting line-up in place of Ben Sheaf, who was deployed alongside one of the first names on the teamsheet, Gustavo Hamer, in the centre of the midfield at Barnsley last weekend.

The other big question is whether Robins will bring his “best” defender, Michael Rose, back into his defence for such a big game.

Rose is fit again after summer hip surgery and been on the bench in the first three games when Leo Ostigard has been deployed in his position on the right of the back three.

The 20-year-old Norwegian, who is on a season-long loan from Brighton, has shown up well in the first three games and proved to be a serious goal threat from set pieces, going agonisingly close to getting his first goal for the club against Barnsley last weekend.

Elsewhere, we are yet to see whether the returning Sam McCallum is ready to make his debut ahead of Ryan Giles, who has provided a lively attacking threat from the left wing-back position.

Other than that, and assuming there are no fresh injuries, the side pretty much picks itself at the minute.

Andy Turner’s predicted line-up to face Bournemouth.

(3-4-2-1): Marko Marosi; Leo Ostigard, Kyle McFadzean, Dom Hyam; Fankaty Dabo, Gus Hamer, Liam Kelly, Ryan Giles; Jamie Allen, Callum O’Hare; Matty Godden.
