Police have sealed off an alleyway in Brierley Hill.
The path, between Springfield Road and Moor Street, was cordoned off on Wednesday evening (September 30).
People living nearby said officers swooped to the scene at around 3.30pm.
West Midlands Police has not yet revealed details of the incident but Black Country Live has contacted the force for comment.
A Springfield Road resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said just one police van remained in the street this evening – as can be seen in the photograph above – but said “lots” of officers had been searching the railway track that runs behind her house and the access routes to the gully.
Others took to social media to say there was a large police presence at the Albion Works industrial units on Moor Street.
