Gloucester Rugby host London Irish on Saturday in Round 18 of the Gallagher Premiership with George Skivington’s side looking to climb the table and secure their place in next season’s Heineken Champions Cup.
The Cherry and Whites sit in eighth place in the table in the final qualifying spot for Europe’s elite competition following changes to the format in 2020/21, just one place above Exiles in ninth.
London Irish have lost their last six Gallagher Premiership Rugby encounters since beating Gloucester at the Madejski Stadium in February.
London Irish have not achieved a season’s Premiership Rugby double over Gloucester since 2005-06.
