This Country star Daisy May Cooper has announced the birth of her “absolutely perfect” baby boy.
Daisy, 34, who grew up in Cirencester, shared a moving photograph of herself cuddling her adorable new arrival on what appears to be a hospital bed.
The writer and actress revealed her happy news to her 578,000 Instagram followers this evening (Tuesday, September 1).
“The bubba has landed and he’s absolutely perfect,” she wrote.
Scores of excited fans have replied to the news.
One said: “Congratulations! He looks absolutely bloody GORGEOUS.”
While another wrote: “Congratulations, you super star.”
The comedian announced she was pregnant in March.
Daisy and husband Will Weston are already the proud parents of their daughter, Pip.
The mockumentary star, who attended Cirencester Deer Park School, made three series of the comedy This Country , with her brother Charlie Cooper.
The hit show was based on their home town of Cirencester and filmed in and around Northleach.
Recently it was announced that Daisy and Charlie are working together on another project.
Speaking to Kate Thornton on her podcast titled White Wine Question Time, Daisy May – who has recently featured on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox and is set to appear on Taskmaster in the Autumn – revealed that her and Charlie have been working on a ‘new thing’ according to the Metro.
Daisy said: “Charlie and I have just started writing our new thing.
“It’s a period thing so it couldn’t be more different from This Country but it’s funny.”
