Leicester City saw veteran defender Wes Morgan go off injured in the first half of Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
While manager Brendan Rodgers is hopeful Morgan’s hamstring problem is a minor one, fans were left hoping a squad which is starting to look stretched defensively is strengthened soon, especially after the sale of Ben Chilwell to Chelsea for £50m.
However, if defensive improvements do not arrive, then Croatian Filip Benkovic could get his chance in the Premier League alongside Caglar Soyuncu, as Jonny Evans will miss the start of the season through suspension.

Kasper Schmeichel, Morgan, Luke Thomas, Dennis Praet, Harvey Barnes, Youri Tielemans, Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho all featured for the Foxes against the Championship side.
James Justin impressed for City and he set up up a first half chance for Vardy, who was denied by Wednesday keeper Cameron Dawson, with Tielemans missing the rebound.
Leicester suffered a blow after 30 minutes when Morgan went off with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Darnell Johnson.
There were a host of changes at the break, with young midfielder Sidnei Tavares among those to get a chance.
The final 30 minutes saw Benković, Hamza Choudhury and Demarai Gray introduced.
Iheanacho and Gray (twice) missed chances for City, while Charles Hagan threatened for Wednesday as it finished goalless.
