A popular pizzeria which is favoured by the stars of Gloucester Rugby has announced that they will be reopening their restaurant.
Hooker & Eight, which is located in Westgate Street in the centre of Gloucester, has been operating as a takeaway following the pandemic.
And when restaurants were given the okay to reopen in July, the owners decided that they would not be welcoming customers back to dine in just yet as they had concerns surrounding the NHS Test and Trace public register along with the necessary changes that they would have to make which they said were ‘physically just not practical.’
However the Gloucester Rugby-themed restaurant has announced that it will finally be reopening – much to the joy of pizza fans.
The news was revealed on the venue’s Facebook page and said: “Hooker & Eight is re-opening to sit in on the 2nd of September. Our capacity has been reduced slightly but we will still be able to safely fit plenty of you in.”
Some changes have also been introduced when the venue reopens next week: “Tables will be spaced 1m apart and each table will fit a maximum of 4 people. If groups of 4 or more would like to book they will have to sit on the next table 1m away.
“We will be asking you to leave your details for the Track and Trace.”
There will also be changes to the venue’s opening hours. They will be open at the following times:
Weds: Noon -2pm last orders (lunch) 4.30pm – 8pm last orders
Thurs: Noon -2pm last orders(lunch) 4.30pm – 8pm last orders
Fri: Noon -2pm last orders(lunch) 4.30pm – 8.30pm last orders
Sat: 12.00-2.00 last orders (lunch) 4.30-8.30 last orders
