Welcome to this week’s BusinessLive Wales podcast featuring business editor Sion Barry and enterprise academic Prof Dylan-Jones Evans.

This week the health of SMEs comes under the spotlight with the latest SME Finance Monitor, which shows that despite the pandemic the appetite amongst firms to raise growth finance has not been diminished.

They also look at the appetite amongst Welsh firms for equity investment.

Rail investment in Wales, including progress electrifying the Core Valley Lines and whether the UK Government will provide the Welsh Government a Barnett Formula consequential from the high speed rail two project in England, is also explored.
