Twycross Zoo visitors will get the opportunity to meet with a Unicorn Princess this weekend.
The conservation charity is relaunching Rhino and Unicorn weekends this August – with two magical weekends planned.
The zoo will be having a very special visitor to teach families about the zoo’s critically endangered Eastern black rhino, Nandi.
The Unicorn Princess will be visiting the zoo for the events, which will take place on:
Saturday, August 22
Sunday, August 23
Friday, August 28
Saturday, August 29
Sunday, August 30
Monday, August 31
During the six days there will be the ever-popular finders’ keepers, where little ones can search for hidden rhino toys and take part in socially distanced meet and greets with the zoo’s very own mascot, Ruby the Rhino.
Families can meet Nandi the Eastern black rhino and learn all about all the work the Midlands-based conservation charity does for the species worldwide.
The zoo’s expert keepers will also be on hand sharing amazing rhino facts and letting people know how they help preserve rhinos all over the world.
Twycross Zoo relies on the generosity of its supporters to continue its vital, worldwide conservation work and has recently launched its Summer of Survival campaign highlighting how making a small gesture can make a huge difference.
