Cadbury has revealed it is bringing back a bar which has a cult following with some chocolate-lovers.
Cadbury’s Orange Twirls became hard to find when they were released last year because they proved so popular.
As a result, many had demanded it make a comeback – and the chocolate giant has duly responded.
The bars will be available for 69p each, and Cadbury expects them to be so popular it’s launched a pre-sale – so this year you have no excuse for missing out.
Posting on Twitter, Cadbury said: “Last year Twirl Oranges were hard to find, so this year we’re doing a presale before they hit the shops.
“Like this tweet to get a reminder about the first release. They’re yours for 69p, but you’ll have to be quick; it’s first come, first served in the #TwirlOrangePresale.”
Responding to a shopper question about where the bars will be available, Cadbury said: “The bars will be available to buy nationwide from mid-September from selected grocery, convenience & high street stores.
“You can always check the date of availability with your local store to avoid disappointment.”
Many people have already expressed their excitement to see the bars returning.
One person wrote: “OMG! I missed out last year, Please don’t make me go another year without you in my life!”
“I never actually found one last year, fingers crossed for this year,” said somebody else.
A third exclaimed: “Never even saw one last year. Booo.”
“Couldn’t find these anywhere last year,” wrote yet another chocaholic.
It might seem trivial, but in the current climate it isn’t half nice to have something to look forward to, if orange-flavoured chocolate is what you’re in to.
