Summer is almost on its way out so that means one thing – time to plan for Christmas.
The supermarket chains have already planned their festive food offerings and our sister site The Mirror has revealed that Aldi is looking to come out on top with customers – thanks to its gigantic Ferrero Rocher!
The budget brand will be selling a ‘Specially Selected Chocolate and Praline Dome’.
According to The Grocer, the family sharing dessert will be available from October 26th until the end of the holiday season.
The site says: “the dome is filled with a milk chocolate and hazelnut mousse, milk chocolate feuilletine, cocoa sponge cake and covered shell.
“Aldi is having these frozen desserts made by a supplier in France. It defrosts and is ready for the table within an hour.”
However the price has not yet been revealed.
It should be worth it – as long as you can share with loved ones – whether in your homes or in joined household bubbles amid the current coronavirus pandemic.
An Aldi spokesperson told The Grocer: “No one knows exactly how the situation will have changed by December but one thing we’re sure of is that Christmas won’t be cancelled.”
“What we’re going through now and have been through, means people are going to be even more focused on celebrating with their household, sharing food and drink and gifts with their families, and that’s where Aldi comes in.”
To find your nearest Aldi and snap up this chocolate treat, you’ll can use the store locator which we’ve popped here. You’ll also find opening and closing time information listed there as well.
Aldi has also revealed their 2020 Christmas range and it includes truffle pigs in blankets.
