Leicester City legend Andy King has played his final game for the club.
The Wales international made his debut for the Foxes in the Championship and stayed with the club after they were relegated to League One the following season.
But few could have predicted what would happen over the decade that followed with King playing a big part in their promotion from the third division to the second, their promotion to the top flight via play-off heartbeat and in seeing them crowned as English football’s most unlikely of Premier League champions.
The club themselves celebrated his great Foxes career with a video in which some of his most notable teammates paid tribute to him.
After the video was viewed by thousands on social media, King shared the post himself, adding the words: “My boys, the pleasure was all mine.”
One Foxes fan replied: “A true Leicester City legend. Thank you Kingy”
Another said: “What a man, what a servant to the club. A true club legend who deserves all the recognition he gets.”
