Firefighters were called to release a man who had become trapped under a car in Great Glen.
Two fire crews were sent to Chestnut Drive in the village at 9.15pm last night after a report that an adult male was stuck under a vehicle.
When they arrived they found the man trapped, and used heavy-duty inflatable bags to lift the car allowing the man to be freed with the incident over some 45 minutes later.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service told LeicestershireLive it was unclear how the man had become trapped but said that he appeared to be unharmed and was set to go to hospital to be checked over.
