A Leicestershire farm is set to open a new coffee hut and snack shack this weekend.
March House Farm, at Great Dalby near Melton Mowbray, is opening the new facility on Saturday, August 8, at 9am.
The farm’s cafe is remaining closed for the time being, but the coffee hut and snack shack means that customers can still enjoy some of the March House Farm’s delicious food.
It will serve St Martin’s Coffee and a limited food menu that customers will be able to take away or enjoy whilst using the outside seating provided.
There will be a breakfast selection, with all of the customer favourites made into easy takeaway or eat-outside options, plus some new creations.
Also on the food menu will be cold options including salads, wraps and sandwiches, and hot options, such as homemade burgers and other favourites.
Specials, such as ‘Fish and Chips Friday’ are also being planned for the near future.
As well as St Martin’s Coffee, there will be other hot drinks, and cold drinks, available.
Customers are reminded of the need to follow Government guidelines. If using the seating, no more than six people should sit together, and customers need to use the hand sanitizer provided.
If you also decided to pay a visit to the farm shop, you’ll need to have your face mask on at all times.
The shop, which opened in 2017, sells an impressive range of food and drink, including sausages, home cured bacon, gammon, ham and cooked meats, supplied by the on-site butchery, and made from home reared, high welfare beef, lamb and pork.
Other products available in the shop include fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, bread and cakes.
March House Farm is in Top End, Great Dalby. The coffee hut and snack shack will open initially from 9am until 3pm.
