A disqualified driver suspected of being under the influence of drugs was arrested along with two others after a stolen car tried to ram raid several police vehicles.
West Mercia Police Officers in the roads Operations Patrol Unit, in Worcestershire, said a stolen vehicle was stopped near junction 8, for Ross-on-Wye, of the M5 motorway yesterday (July 25).
Officers said a stolen car tried to “ram” their vehicles so it was brought to a controlled stop using police “tactics”. Pictures from the scene showed a silver-coloured Ford Fiesta boxed in by two marked police cars and an unmarked vehicle.
One suspect, wearing a black hoodie and shorts, can be seen being led away by an officer into custody.
Police said that the West Mercia Police Dog Section also helped during the operation.
