Do you ever wake up in the morning and feel a bit worse for wear? Often it’s only the promise of a tasty full English breakfast that can revive you.
The humble banger, rashers of bacon, hash browns, tomatoes and baked beans… heaven.
That just leaves the problem of cooking the said feast being the last thing you feel like doing with a hangover.
Add that to the thought of having to venture out of the house to gather such ingredients and the notion can very quickly turn sour.
That’s why an idea posted on Facebook by an East Midlands woman could be what we’ve been waiting for all along.
You see, one woman has gone viral with her incredible way to cook a full English, writes Birmingham Live.
The fry-up hack is a unique approach to cooking a full English breakfast – by using a slow cooker.
Rose Bowler, from Retford in Nottinghamshire, uploaded a photo to Facebook sharing the trick.
Remarkably, it has since been liked and shared almost 27,000 times.
“What an amazing idea someone has shared in the slow cooker group,” she captioned.
“Make sure the meat is leant against the edge for it to brown.”
The photo shows three mugs containing beans, a tin of tomatoes and mushrooms with a little bit of butter.
Apparently, this means your food doesn’t merge into mush.
Rose also says you need to ensure crispiness – and you do this by leaning the sausages upright along the edge, with bacon rolled up and stacked along the side.
Full English in a slow cooker – disgusting or delicious?

She did admit there’s one item which doesn’t feature: toast.
But, don’t worry, you can just use the toaster for that.
Happy days, eh?
