If Aston Villa fans were left devastated by last night’s late equaliser from Theo Walcott – it didn’t do much to improve the mood of Everton supporters.
The winger struck with a header with three minutes to go to rescue a 1-1 draw and a point for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
Villa fans were left feeling shortchanged and needing positive results against Arsenal and West Ham to stay in the Premier League.
And many Toffees supporters expressed their sympathy for Dean Smith’s men.

@AZToffee94: Unlucky, you’s were the better side. Deserved the 3 points.
@Rixzuh: We didn’t deserve a thing there, hope yous stay up
@ElliotB1878: We were so bad you deserved the win,I’m Sorry
@Harrys1878nsno: We were so ***** I actually feel sorry for youse if you do down because of that
@EvertonFutbol: Unlucky lads, hope you stay up. Proper football team
@BosaBabyy: Unlucky lads
Paul Parry: Turned it off absolutely terrible, we can’t even get a one two right. Ancelotti needs a complete rebuild from the training all the way up. We look so slow & unfit not a single player has any invention.
Bev Hackworth: Feeling very despondent right now, dreadful performance. It can’t be easy playing under the current guidance and with nothing really to play for now. However, we as supporters, are still paying to watch them on Sky and on whatever channel (s), so they should show more passion and commitment!
Craig James: I have no words after that performance, I switched it off with 20 minutes to go. Everything we do is boring, there’s no fight from anyone. Lost interest, not gonna bother watching now until next season after he hopefully does some business in the transfer window
Mikey Hunter: Robbed Villa a victory. Deserved nothing out the game. Too many players just physically turning up. Soo slow, passing lethargic, shooting utterly woeful. I do wonder with some who actually said they could be pro players. Earning tens of thousands a week for half-***** performances isn’t acceptable. If we had fans in the stadium these lazy wasters would rightfully get an ear full.
Paul Nation: Aston villa 2nd bottom and we didn’t trouble them until they scored time up for alot of are players just not good enough Davies iwobi Bernard tonight dreadful poor team at the moment can’t wait to see the back of this season pure rubbish
Joe Smith: Completely and utterly undeserved, I feel sorry for Villa. This must have shown Carlo how many signings he needs. Can we just give Iwobi back to arsenal free of charge?
