Coventry City fans have been reacting to reports claiming that Aston Villa are set to allow Callum O’Hare to leave on a free transfer.
O’Hare, who starred for City this season as they confirmed a return to the Championship, will see his deal at Villa Park expire this summer.
According to The Athletic, Villa’s last contract offer to O’Hare actually came last summer with talks that have been held since ending without a deal on the table.
Now the Solihull-born 22-year-old looks set to depart Villa Park at the end of June.

The path appears to have been cleared for City to make a move, with Mark Robins ‘ side able to approach O’Hare from tomorrow.
And that has alerted City fans to the fact a deal could actually be done to land O’Hare on a permanent deal.
“As much as I’d love that, I can see top Championship clubs approaching him who can give him more money,” one said.
“Callum probably feels he will get far more first-team football in our squad and he would with the players around him,” said another. “All players want to play.”
“This means no compensation fee, then, which would make the signing even better,” a third added.
Another said: “He fits in well with the way we play.”
“Imagine if we can actually sign O’Hare,” added a fifth.
“If we get O’Hare on a free that’s the signing of the summer right there,” another said while a seventh said: “Let’s hope their loss is our gain. We love you Callum!”
