Cheltenham Town manager Michael Duff finalised his retained list on Tuesday, with six senior players’ contracts due to expire this summer.
Of the six, Rhys Lovett, Rohan Ince, Luke Varney and Jonté Smith have been released.
First year professional Archie Brennan’s departure was confirmed by Duff earlier this month.
Left wing-back Josh Debayo has been offered a new contract, while negotiations are ongoing with midfielder Chris Clements,
Five loan spells have come to an end: Owen Evans (Wigan Athletic), Jacob Greaves (Hull City), Jake Doyle-Hayes (Aston Villa), Max Sheaf (Hull City) and Tom Nichols (Bristol Rovers).
Duff has the following players contracted beyond this summer: Scott Flinders, Sean Long, Charlie Raglan, Will Boyle, Ben Tozer, Dan Bowry, Chris Hussey, Conor Thomas, Ryan Broom, Reuben Reid, Alex Addai, George Lloyd, Alfie May and Tahvon Campbell.
Youngsters Tom Chamberlain and Grant Horton are also set to sign professional contracts after completing their two-year scholarships in the academy.
Cheltenham’s season ended in disappointment on Monday night as they were beaten 3-0 by Northampton Town in the play-off semi-final second leg, going down 3-2 on aggregate.
Northampton will play Exeter City in the final at Wembley next Monday.
