New owners are being sought for Everards pub The Fox and Goose at Illston on the Hill.
The pub is described by Everards as ‘eccentric’ and also the heart and soul of its community.
According to Everards, the pub feels like your living room, but with quirky artefacts like stuffed foxes and owls dotted amongst gin and beer, as well as general pub memorabilia.
The roaring fire is said to add to the cosy welcoming atmosphere, whilst outside the courtyard is set up for summer barbecues and beer festivals.
It will give you regular email updates on the latest from restaurants and bars in Leicestershire.

Every year, The Fox and Goose raises thousands of pounds for charity through its unique ‘Onion Sunday’ festival which has been going for more than 20 years and has so far raised more than £100,000 for local charities.
The pub is home to the Fox and Goose Yacht Club, the village bell ringers and a darts team and also welcomes walkers, cyclists and village locals daily.
Canine companions are welcome, and there’s doggy treats waiting on the bar.
According to Everards, the pub has a great cask ale and gin following and sources all of its food locally.
Current business owner Sue Caplin has worked hard to spread the pub’s reputation for great food out into the wider villages and beyond.
