A huge new B&M Bargains store is set to open its doors in Kidderminster – and it will boast its own garden centre.
The bargain brand, which already has a shop inside the Worcestershire town’s Swan Centre, has revealed the opening date for its new premises.
The long-awaited store was due to open back on April 29 of this year, but the date was stalled amid the coronavirus crisis.
Now, all non-essential shops have reopened with lockdown measures finally easing, the B&M store has dropped a date for the launch.
The brand new store, located on the former Homebase site on Spennels Valley Road, will sell toys, food and drink, its pet range, homeware and health & beauty products.
But the shop will also boast a garden centre – ideal for those shoppers who have taken up gardening during the UK shutdown.
The large store will open its doors to customers from next week, Saturday, June 27 at 9am.
At a time of crisis for the economy, the new opening will bring 66 new local jobs to the area as it launches.
The store manager, Chris Summers, said: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, we can’t wait to get the doors open and show customers their brand new B&M”.
