A 15-year-old boy was arrested after police uncovered a £250,000 cannabis factory in Walsall.
The youngster and 250 plants were found inside the Noose Lane property at around 5.30pm on Monday, June 15.
He remained in custody for questioning today, Tuesday, June 16, following the Willenhall shut down, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We were called to a suspected cannabis factory at a property on Noose Lane, Willenhall just before 5.30pm on Monday, where around 250 plants were found.
“A 15-year-old was arrested from the scene on suspicion of drugs cultivation and remains in police custody this morning.
“Enquiries continue and anyone with information is asked to contact us.”
